It was not like a mountain range but rather, a very large hill looming tall over a plataeu. Tall enough to make a fall seem like long moments until the end.Kaplin, an azure fendrake, swung his tail with grace with each careful step as the pair hiked higher and higher to the peak of dirt-dusted hilltop. His paws were held out by his side as he walked forward, moving in a sweeping manner with paws inward and a somewhat child-like innocence. His fingers slid through the air, the flowering and desert brush swaying softly in the gentle breeze created from his occasional wingflap. Cirrus, a wolf-hyena hybrid, kept in tow behind him, his eyes forward at the back of the fendrake. He had asked him to come to the top of the mountain but he wasn't sure what to expect. Last One Alive, The Legion Returns Scorching winds dusted the ravaged Blasted Lands, the sands of the shore trailing with mixed red and green blood. The red blood stained the red sands even deeper as the defenders of Azeroth lay slain amongst the fel-oozing demons of the Legion, who's own twisted blood singed the very things it touched. The soft swoosh of the waves carried among them the bodies of the fallen soldiers and demons.Amongst the rubble of corpses emerged a bear, his fur stained with some blood his own and some blood not. He strained himself up from the dead pile and winced, observing his paws and body, finding injuries and open wounds. The winds blew savagely around him, the sounds of battle not far from where he fell still echoing and carried by the winds. Deep snarling roars and tenacious yells of a final stand mixed in the wooshing sound of the wind. He winced his way out of the pile and collapsed forward,rolling with a deep growling groan as he landed on his mangled side.The sky lurch
